Super Bowl Rings: The Bling

I went to the NFL Experience that is being held in San Francisco in conjunction with our area hosting the Super Bowl. One of the coolest things was that they had a display of every Super Bowl Ring. It is really cool to see how the rings have evolved over the last 50 years. The Super Bowl I ring almost looks like a high school class ring when compared to last year's ring. Here is an example how the rings have evolved over time:

Green Bay-Super Bowl 1
Pittsburgh-Super Bowl X

Oakland-Super Bowl XI-This is when they started getting fancy
Pittsburgh-Super Bowl XIV
San Francisco-Super Bowl XVI
Dallas-Super XXVIII
The first with five-San Francisco-Super Bowl XXIX
The first to six-Pittsburgh-Super Bowl XLIII
Seattle-Super Bowl XLVIII
Last year-New England-Super Bowl XLIX

You can see, the rings have gone from modest to huge over the last 50 years.
