The Art of Protest -1960s-1970s

I was over at the King Library at San Jose St and they had an exhibit called "The Art of Protest: 1960s-1970s", it was an exhibition of original protest art from the era. This protest art were made by students at various San Francisco Bay Area schools. The interesting thing is they are on the computer paper of the era:

It was really interesting seeing this amazing artwork that has survived for 50 years and how these students were devoted to their causes. The King Library did an amazing job of putting this together.

Pride Festival 2018

I went to the Pride Festival in San Francisco and it was quite an event with a lot of interesting things to see and do:

Downtown Hayward 3rd Thursday Street Party

Last night was a fun night as my city hosted the 1st  Downtown Hayward 3rd Thursday Street Party for 2018. The 3rd Thursday Street Parties have been going on for over a decade and it has become a summer staple in Downtown Hayward. It celebrates all things Hayward. There is something for everyone and a lot of fun:

The 3rd Thursday Downtown Hayward Street Party is a great time for the whole family and I how it always brings together our big community.
