Some Art of Stephen "ESPO" Powers
When I was at SFMOMA looking at Andy Warhol's work, I ran into a small exhibit that featured a work by an artist named Stephen "ESPO" Powers. Powers is a comtemporay artist and muralist who works out of New York City. He was a graffiti artist who worked under the name ESPO or Exterior Surface Painting Outreach and gave up graffiti and became a studio artist 20 years ago:
To me, Powers work is very interesting and I like it. I will be looking out for his work more.

The Street Artists and Vendors of San Francisco
Over by the Ferry Building in San Francisco, there are a lot of Street Vendors and Street Artists. To be able to sell down there, a person must have a business license and obtain a certificate and license from the the San Francisco Art Commission. It gives these artists a way to sell their work:
The street vendors and artists help make San Francisco the vibrant place it is and part of the fabric of the city.
Music Monday: Doing Some Health Recovery
Hello, sorry that I missed last week. I had a big health scare that put me in the hospital for a couple of days a weekend ago and I have been recovering from it. The doctors say I am doing well and take it easy. But here are some health recovery songs that I have been listening to that keep me motivated:
And because my issue dealt with my heart:
Hope everyone has a great Monday.

Sausalito Historical Society Museum
The city of Sausalito is a small place of about 7,100 but it has a long and interesting existance. It was a fishing village and then a transit hub as the North Pacific Railroad extended their tracks to the town in the 1870's for ferry access to San Francisco before the Golden Gate Bridge was built. It was a favorite for bootleggers and rum runners during the 1930's. In this age it is a weathy enclave for artists and a tourist destination for folks. I had never visited the small Sausalito Historical Society Museum until a couple of weeks ago. It was interesting:
The museum is small but you learn a lot about the town that is Sausalito. If you ever visit the city. It is a must.

Outside the Golden 1 Center
The Golden 1 Center in Sacramento is one the NBA's newest arena's as it opened in 2016. The home of the Sacramento Kings. The arena used to be a mall and they have turned the area into what is known as the Downtown Commons. Besides the arena, the area was redeveloped into a mixed-use entertainment and shopping area:

It is so cool, that the city of Sacramento, took old shopping center and made it into a beautiful place for all to enjoy even when the Kings are not playing.
