Before I went to Las Vegas, I headed up to the Applehill area up near Placerville, Ca. I stopped at the Boeger Winery. I am used to the Wineries in Napa, not in Placerville. I found this one very nice and peaceful:

This house was built in 1872 from stones cleared from the vineyard |
One of the real cool things about this place was that they had a working old-school black smithing shop which I thought was super cool:

A bellows (You pump it to get to the fire) |

Metal being shaped into a bottle cap opener |
Boeger Winery in Placerville along the Applehill trail is a really cool place to spend some time.
Thanks for stopping by the blacksmith shop. See you next time. Bill Fisher and Dennis Dusek
