Music Monday; Songs for Veterans
Being a Veteran (U.S. Navy, 1990-1994), I would like to say thanks to all the men and women who have put their lives on the line for this country. He/She is not just a solider or sailor but somebody's child, someone's mother/father, someone's parent. This Music Monday is dedicated to you:
Thank to all those who have served.

The Ray Charles one should be our national song.
Deletebeautiful songs, a beautiful and fitting tributes to those who give so much of themselves - so the rest of us don't have to. They make the ultimate sacrifice and it is a privilege to honour them.
ReplyDeleteThanks. That is very true,
DeleteGod bless you my friend! It is with deep emotion that I listen to such wonderful songs. I am an American and I'm not ashamed to proclaim it, and I am a Catholic and I'm not ashamed to shout God at the top of my lungs and either are any of my kids. Ray Charles was always and is a favorite of mine. You have picked out the finest from the finest. Salute to you, and thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome and we are all Americans and need to be proud.
