Just me and my adventures in life. Life is an adventure and I try to have fun. I love being out in the world, taking pictures and being able to share them with people who come across my little space on the internet.

Music Monday: European Groups
For this Music Monday, we are going to go across the pond and I am going to not feature anything from England as it is too easy but going to explore the continent:
From Norway:
From Germany (or in the 80's West Germany):
From Austria:
From Sweden:
From Greece:
From Czechoslovakia:
The last two may be cheating but they were Number One of the Billboard charts. Hope you have a wonderful week.
Our Spotlight Dancer really nailed this theme on the head, don't ya think? Your picks are dancetastic! Great to see your last three selections. I had no clue until I began digging for song picks that Miami Vice theme was done by an international recording artist. This is one of my favorite TV series songs, too. Thanks for hitting the dance floor with the 4M gang, my friend and have a songtastic week! ;)
I didn't know about the Miami Vicetheme, either. I love A-Ha and it was nice to see we had a couple in common. Now I wish I had also picked ABBA, too. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
LOL I love it - I thought about using every one of these songs. But changed my mind at the last second. The A-ha song, I couldn't find a video that was unrestricted, so I couldn't use it.
Man, how did everyone know about the theme change except me?! I feel kinda cheated: I would've had fun with this theme. Arrrgh...
You rocked this one! I love all your choices. "Take On Me" is a great song: killer keyboards! Whenever I hear "Rock Me Amadeus" I crank up the volume to max. Love that song! And The Look: I haven't heard that song in forever! Sounds as good today as it did all those years ago. I didn't know the Miami Vice theme music hailed from Czechoslovakia. That's cool trivia -- I'm Czech so that's a fun factoid.
Excellent post! I'm playing The Look again. I could listen to that song all day...
woo hoo I love these. A total introduction, but maybe I should start listening to more European songs!!! LOL Thanks to you my friend you can really pick em'!!! Thanks for playing along! BIG HUGS
You went all 80's! I remember hearing an interview with the Outfield. They really did love American baseball.

ReplyDeleteGreat choices here! I never even thought of A-HA... I went the same way, using songs only from the continent. Makes it a little harder, doesn't it?
