Recently, I took a little walk around Mills College in Oakland. Mills College is the oldest independent liberal arts college for women in West. It was founded in 1852. Mills is a very small college as it as only 762 undergraduate women and 549 graduate students (both men and women). Mills ranks very high on the U.S. News and World Report rankings for colleges in the Western United States:
Mills Hall-Built in 1871, it once housed the whole college |
Olin Library |
Carnegie Hall |
Lucie Stern Hall |
The Music Building |
The Presidents House |
And there is a lot of beauty around the campus:
Mills College is a wonderful gem that we have in the Bay Area.
It's a gorgeous campus!
