After going to Applehill, I went and walked around downtown Placerville and found this little bookstore called The Bookery:
The Bookery of Placerville is one of those places that you might miss but if you are up there go on in and take a look around, it is worth it.
Believe it or not, I've been to Placerville a couple of times, working with El Dorado County. Missed the bookstore, though...

ReplyDeleteh what a sweet little place! I always wanted to own a little book shop and serve coffee and tea and pastries. I feel like Amazon is killing the ideal! Thanks for sharing this quaint place, Patrick. I would visit it all the time if I lived nearby!
