The Oakland A's season is over as they lost to the Tampa Bay Rays in the Wild Card Playoff game. It was a great and amazing season. The A's won 97 games and provided ten times as many thrills at the ballpark:
The only multi-purpose stadium left in the Major Leagues |
And beer:
And special things for the Green and Gold fans:
First Baseman Matt Olson thanking the fans |
Since most (like me) use e-tickets for the games, the A's sent this special ticket stub in the mail to A's Access members for Mike Fiers No-hitter |
It was a great season for the Green and Gold even though the team lost in the wild card game. Looking forward to the 2020 season.
Always a little sad at the end of the season....but it is just a countdowwn until it begins again....
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed the season and I agree it's always sad when it's over.

Have a fabulous day, Patrick. 😎
The three B’s of Summer...Baseball, Beer, and Bobbleheads! How very cool that they sent you a commemorative ticket stub. It’s a shame that everything has gone electronic these days especially for those sports fans (like my husband) who likes to save ticket stubs and create mementos with them. Thanks for sharing, my friend!

My Stl Cardinals were just eliminated too, but what a fun ride it was! (They won the NLDS but got swept by the Nationals in the NLCS.) So nice to see a post from another baseball lover. Thanks for sharing at Thursday Favorite Things!
