Music Monday: I know that we have a lot of interesting things happen in 2020. We have this country's Independence Day coming up on Saturday. Here are some songs for this country:
And because I believe we really it in this country:
Hope everyone has a wonderul and safe Independence Day.
Did you see "A Mighty Wind"? It was pretty funny, not as crazy as "Best In Show" or as weird as "Waiting For Guffman," but pretty funny nonetheless. Good list here!
...I went to a Ray Charles concert while college, it was great! A couple years ago I went to a Mellencamp concert too, another good one. Thanks for sharing, have a great week.
GREAT JOB MY FRIEND! I wish I would've looked at the calendar! Love Ray Charles to say the least, and the others you have chosen are really rockin' the house and this nation. The other videos were superb from Remember the Heroes, Mr. Diamond, Mellencamp & holy cow that little girl playin' the guitar was phenomenal not to mention the great song! Love is the only river... great tune! Build a bridge was really great also. Thanks my friend... great job! YOU HAVE ROCKED THE HOUSE & BE SAFE THIS WEEKEND HAPPY FOURTH!
Ray Charles' 'America, The Beautiful' is such a gorgeous rendition and so heart moving! I pray the issues at hand in our country are resolved soon. In God's eyes, He doesn't see skin color, He sees a little bit of Himself in all of us. We're all connected in this life. What you do to another affects you, too. Thanks for sharing such an amazing set of patriotic tunes to brighten our week filling our hearts with hope and pride for this great country. God bless America! Have a boogietastic week, my friend. Take care, stay safe, and be healthy!
Nice near-July 4th post, especially with Remember the Heroes and Neil Diamond's America. But best of all, Ray Charles. Thank you for sharing this set with us on this special and unusual week of July 4th.
Well, here I am again. These are marvelous tunes my friend. That last tune really gives me something to think about and I think you know what I mean. God bless you and yours my friend & I truly hope you and your family had a great weekend & a even better Independence Day celebration. God speed. hugs
