Music Monday: Number #1 Animals
Music Monday: What a crazy week last week was. It might as crazy this week. Here some Number #1 hits that have animals in their title from the 50's to the 2010's:
It is really cool to see how styles have changed over the years.
"The Lion Sleeps Tonight" will always be a favorite. This one has been repeated a few times already but that's okay. I never get tired of hearing the same good song over. "Disco Duck" is a fun novelty tune and it really takes me back to the 70s. "Fireflies" is good one to use this time of the year since they are active right now. Great song set for this week's theme. Have a boogietastic week, my friend!
The Chipmunk song - a staple of my youth. A lot of us picked "The Lion Sleeps Tonight", another love of my youth, but I can listen to that song over and over. "Disco Duck" remains a hoot after all these years. Katy Perry's song was.. different. A dog doing tricks in Cleopatra's song? Hmmm. I really liked the sound of the Firefly song. Where was I when that was a hit? Nicely done.
