The Oregon World War II and Vietnam Memorials.

 


In Oregon's state capitol of Salem, there is a park that hosts the Oregon WWII Memorial. As this weekend is Memorial Day, many people think it is the beginning of summer and forget the people who have given their lives for this country:






At the other end of the park is the Oregon Vietnam War Memorial:





In your weekend of fun, could you please spare a minute to say a prayer for all those who have lost their lives in defending this country.

    This is a wonderful tribute. This post is also a wonderful reminder about this holiday. This weekend we will be spending time in cemeteries cleaning and decorating graves of loved ones.
