Random Halloween Photos

I am not much of a Halloween guy but I can get into the spirit of things (I guess). Here are some random photos celebrating the day that I saw while walking around:

While doing my daily walk I saw this house that was all decked out:

And a couple of people:

I saw these people outside a liquor store near the Glen Park BART station
And even though I am not a Halloween person, I do own one Halloween decoration:

With the lights out
I hope everyone has a great and safe Halloween.

Cann Civic Center

I was in Union City (the town next to mine) and decided to take a walk around the Cann Civic Center:

The Cann Civic Center is a great place to walk in the morning. It is so nice and peaceful.

2018 Cal Women's Basketball Opening Tip

If you have read this blog, you know that I am a big fan of Cal Women's Basketball. Cal is always one of the top teams in the country and this year will be no different. They held their opening tip event to get everybody jazzed for the upcoming season:

The Sun Gallery- Dia de los Muertos

I went over to the Sun Gallery in Hayward. The Sun Gallery has been around since 1976 and stimulates the community interests in the arts as a cultural center. It sustains local artists. They try to reflect the diversity that is Hayward in their exhibitions. I remember going there as a kid on field trips.

Right now, they are having their annual Day of the Dead  or Dia de los Muertos exhibit.  The art is done by local artists and it focuses on capturing beauty, vibrancy and celebration in memory of those who have passed on. Dia de los Muertos has its beginnings in Mexico and is celebrated many countries around the world:
