Blue Sky Festival

BART (our subway) hosted their annual Blue Sky Festival during a lunchtime at Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco. The Festival focused on doing things to learn how to keep our skies blue and our Earth healthy:

It was good time in learning all the things that I can do to help the Earth.

Union City Historical Museum

Talk about super local, I ran into a small Farmer's Market while driving lost. I took a left instead of a right. I stopped got some strawberries and saw that there was a place called the Union City Historical Museum. I am drawn to museums like a dog is to fire hydrants. It was truly interesting, not much stuff about the history of area. Mostly people donating their old stuff:

1950's Baby Doll Crib
1940's Refrigerator
1920's trunk
1920's stove
Table and chairs from the 40's
70's Pepsi machine
And three items I found that were truly Union City;

The local paper from the 50's
The UC Drive-thru was the spot growing up. They turned into a huge outdoor shopping mall

The Union City Historical Museum is different but I am glad I got lost and found it.

2016 Swinging Skirts-Part 1

I got to go to the 2016 Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic Pro-Am at Lake Merced Golf Course in San Francisco last week. I always go to the Pro-Am as it is the only day that you can bring in cameras and the players are really nice. Breaking this up into two parts. The first is the action shots:

Chella Choi out of bunker
Lexi Thompson after a putt
Christie Kerr putting
Christina Kim with a chip shot
Brooke Henderson teeing off
Na Yeon Choi
Jessica Korda
Paula Creamer
Ai Miyazato
Jodi Ewart Shadoff
So Yeon Ryu
And these last four-I just sat on the first hole and admired their shots:

Lydia Ko
Morgan Pressel
Stacey Lewis
Michelle Wie
The people who run Swinging Skirts do a great job in hosting the tournament. Heading out to the Pro-Am is always one of my favorite sports activities.

Music Monday: 80's/90's B sides

Music Monday: We are going to try for our favorite artists from the 80/90's and pick a song we like that was not a hit:

I was at this concert by The Police:

Hope you some B sides from Back in the Day
