Japantown Peace Plaza

I was in what is called Japantown in San Francisco and walked through the Japantown Peace Plaza. The plaza connects the two malls of the Japan Center. It was created in the 1960's:

The focus of the plaza is the Peace Pagoda. The pagoda was donated by the San Francisco's sister city Osaka, Japan in 1968 as a gesture of goodwill:

The Japantown Peace Plaza is a beautiful place to walk around and sit and relax.

Music and Fun at the Turf Club

I went to the Turf Club to listen to the band "Touch of Class" play in Downtown Hayward. I had never been there to listen to music. I found the Turf Club to be a really groovy place to listen to some tunes:

And Touch of Class was great as usual:

The Turf Club is a wonderful place to kick back and relax and hear of great bands play. What a good and relaxing evening:

A Visit to Ardenwood Farm

Ardenwood Farm was a farm owned by George and Clara Patterson from the 1850's. In 1978 the farm was turned over by the Patterson family to the city of Fremont and in 1985 the East Bay Regional Parks District started to operate it as a fully functional turn-of-last-century farm:

Ardenwood Farm is an amazing place to visit and spend some time. I am so glad that they have kept it as it was back in the day.

Walking Through Hayes Valley

The Hayes Valley area of San Francisco is very interesting because it is a mixture of affluent people, Victorian, Queen Anne and Edwardian townhouses, high-end boutiques, restaurants and public housing:

The Hayes Valley neighborhood of San Francisco is always an interesting place to hang out in. It is a wonderful place to sit and have a drink of whatever you prefer and see the world around you:

Angelicas Restaurant

I went to Angelicas Restaurant located in Redwood City recently. I will admit that I am not a fancy diner, I usually go to places like diners and such. But I was with some people and they wanted to go there. It was a great experience.

We were seated outside on a warm and pleasant night. The outside was amazing:

And the food and beer were even better:

If you are ever in Redwood City and want a great fine dining experience, head to Angelicas.
