Music Monday: MIA by the Academy

Going to have a little Oscar fun on this Music Monday. Instead of winners or even nominated, I am going to play some great tunes that the Academy gave no love to. Here some songs that were never nominated for an Academy Award but are great:

And to me the biggest All-Time Snub, from Rush: "Tears in Heaven":


But at these songs are not snubbed here but given a lot of love.

    I like your take on the Oscars! I agree with that last one. It should have been tops!

    I didn't watch the Ocars, but I always laugh when I see them being aired because my daddy's name is Oscar. I said last night, "Looks like they have a show on about daddy." Eric Clapton's Tears In Heaven is a beautiful, beautiful song and it always makes me a bit weepy eyed to hear it. I cannot imagine his heart ache when he lost his young son. Thanks for sharing the dance floor with me!

    Thanks for the great songs. I got a Vivofit for Valentine's Day and am home again for a continued snow vacation. I appreciate having good songs to move to. Work or not, I have to get my steps in. :)
