A Look at Three Churches

This post will seem odd. I am combining my visits to a couple of  different churches into one blog. The first one is Mission San Rafael Arcangel. It was 20th mission in the California Mission System. The only thing left is the old chapel:

The main church-built in 1817, rebuilt in 1930

Next is Mission Santa Cruz. I got there too late to go to the visitors center but was able to attend mass inside the newer church:

Finally there is a St. Leander's in San Leandro:

  5. Beautiful pictures. These churches are very different in style to the churches I am used to in Scotland and New Zealand. Thanks for sharing with the #BlogFair.
