  13. Having grown up in the Midwest I had not seen the desert until I was in my 20's. The lack of greenery was something I didn't expect on my first visit to AZ. I hadn't really thought about it. It is beautiful in its own way.

  14. Wow! I love the twists and turns in the rock structures. I would like to visit this park. I saw the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest for the first time this summer and was blown away.

  18. These are almost like clouds as to... you can make pictures out of these rocks. Like I see a bird, a man in a cave, one spot almost looks like Mt. Rushmore... hehehe I know I'm waco! LOL But that's what I see - sorry, but NOT! That's fun! Thanks for sharing and stopping by! HUGS
