Market St Prototyping Festival 2016

The Market Street Prototyping Festival goal is to make Market Street a more vibrant, connected destination; one that brings together different people, communities, and neighborhoods of San Francisco to try to make Market St., a more active, engaging and vibrant place to be in so called "Street Life Zones." This is the second year of this and these are prototypes of things that might be installed in the "Street Life Zones" of Market St:

And my two favorites-simple and pleasing to the ear:

It is always amazing what people come up with.

  1. I see a lot of interesting ideas. I'm not sure what all of them are and I wonder if some of them will hold up in the rain. My favorite is the round 2 seated (facing each other) chair.

  2. Really interesting seeing so many different protoypes in a festival. Would be nice to know if any of them get developed into actually products for sale in the future.
