A Trip to Dodge Ridge

I decided to head to Dodge Ridge and hang out in the snow. It doesn't snow here in the Bay Area and Dodge Ridge is the closest resort from my house. It is about 2 1/2 hours away:

I may sound simple but going out to the snow is pretty cool. I know that some of you are tired of the snow but not being around it a lot, I enjoy going to see it.

  2. Okay my friend, fess up! Did you build that snowman? hahaha Good for you! You know what, he's kinda handsome too! Sorry this kind of stuff doesn't excite me too much except for the tall trees those are cool. If I want to see snow all I have to do is look out our window. hahaha

  6. Snow always fascinates me Patrick because there's none anywhere near me and I've never seen it in real life (other than a few whispy flakes once in Europe). I totally get why you'd enjoy doing a little roadtrip to enjoy it now and then.
Thanks for linking up with us at MLSTL and I've shared on my SM 😊

  9. Patrick, I had no idea where Dodge Ridge is until now. It is amazing what a difference a 2 1/2 hours ride makes. The snow is actually quite deep. Very pretty photos! #MLSTL Sharing on SM

  11. I've not gone to the snow this year. Been busy with other things. Dodge Ridge was a good choice.

  12. I lived in the Bay Area for 20+ years and sure do miss driving up to the snow. I guess I could now, I'm in Western Arizona near Laughlin, but for some reason the Sierras are in my heart as a California girl. Thanks for sharing a little bit of what is close to my heart!

  13. As much as I can complain about all the snow that we get, I would miss it if I never saw it. I am glad that you have a place that isn’t too far away that you go enjoy the beauty of the snow! Thanks for sharing and linking up with me.
