Music Monday: Songs That Are Better Than Books
Music Monday: Here are some songs that are better than books:
I think that these songs are better than some books.
I had to listen to Cat’s in the Cradle twice. I’m a big Harry Chapin fan and wasn’t sure I would like the cover. But I do. Ugly Kid Joe does a wonderful version of the song.
Kenny Rodgers woo hoo!! Love this tune...I haven't heard it in such a long time, so cool! I haven't heard I'm Dancin' like in forever. Aww I had Cats in the Cradle too. Great minds think alike. hehehe And closing it out with Aerosmith Janie Got a gun... totally awesome! Great job my friend! Have a great day!
Kenny Rodgers' "Coward of the County" didn't come to mind but I'm glad you though of it. "Come Dancing" is purrfect for the 4M hop for sure. Billy Joel had me smiling and laughing with his story telling at the piano. :) Thanks for sharing your picks with us this week on the dance floor. Have a boogietastic week, my friend!
Nice song choices. I enjoyed the cover of Cats in the Cradle (it was creepy at first but I understood why later); Come Dancing is one I wouldn't have thought of (as much as I like that song!) and the Dixie Chicks song was new to me. Hope you had a good week.
