Patrick Kelly- Runway of Love at the de Young

I went to go see the exhibition Patrick Kelly-Runway of Love at the de Young Museum in San Francisco. It was pretty cool. Patrick Kelly was an African-American fashion designer who came to fame in France in the mid-80's. Sadly in the Summer of 1989 at the height of his success he became ill and couldn't complete his fall collection for his October show. He passed away on New Year's Day 1990:

Kelly was a true trailblazer and I was glad to be able to learn more about him and to see his work.
