The deYoung Museum is hosting the first major exhibition of Tamara De Lempicka's work in the Untied States right now. Lempicka was an artist who help define Art Deco and she help capture the glamour of post World War I Paris and Hollywood:

I wasn't really familiar with her work, but after seeing her work. I really like it. I love her use of colors.
I wasn't familiar with her work either but I too was struck by her use of color and all the depth of shadow and light.
