A historic street car dressed up |
This might be my last blog of the events of Super Bowl 50 in the Bay Area. I do have enough pics (radio row, selfies) for a couple of more blogs but I don't want to bore people and there are other things to blog about. This just some pics that didn't fit in to any "theme blog" I did while the Bay Area was hosting Super Bowl 50:
They put these all long Market St. with highlights of past Super Bowls |
A Muni Bus painted up |
Where ESPN did there broadcasts from |
The Ferry Building |

Super Bowl 50 is history. I hope we don't have to wait another 31 years to get the game back here.
Really interesting photos. It is exciting to know how people celebrate and admire their favorite game...
ReplyDeleteI didn't even know the Bay Area hosted the superbowl. Looks like the city spent tons of money on the event, just like Auckland did when we had Rugby World Cup.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots. I hope your team won.
ReplyDeleteI'm so out of the loop with the whole super bowl. Only really gets coverage here due to the half time entertainment.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots quite interesting too as we don't haave superbowl here
ReplyDeleteHave a superbowltastic week :-)
Our team lost this year (I live in NC), but I'm proud of them for hitting the big leagues in a big way so soon! They're a young team full of potential.

I'm so not into sports. Did you watch the Superbowl?
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the game, half time, and of course...the snacks!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and sons watched. I went in my room and read a book!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun! There's always an amazing energy when a city hosts a big sporting event. Thanks for sharing with #AllAboutYou

ReplyDeleteGreat photos , I am not into Superbowl as we do not play it here. Thanks for sharing on #overthemoon
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving us a personal tour of the celebration, Patrick! I love these shots and that Ferry Tower/Building is so stately! I saw it as a backdrop to many broadcasts and thought it looked so much like Big Bend in England. Love it and thanks for linking up and commenting over at MM, my friend!
ReplyDeleteThis is so awesome! Pinned and tweeted. Thanks for sharing this at our party! I always love your amazing creations. I hope to see you next Monday because we love to party with you! Happy Wenesday! Lou Lou Girls
ReplyDeleteSuper Bowl is really a huge things here and there :)..I really enjoy your snaps :)
ReplyDeletePatrick, that must have been thrilling for your city to host SB50. It was an exciting game, too. We rooted for the Broncos, as we are huge Peyton Manning fans ever since he played at the University of Tennessee. It's crazy, but I had a sense leading up to the game that somehow Peyton would lead the team to victory. Cool shots! I bet you had a lot of fun taking those, huh? Thanks for stopping by and linking up today. Happy WW!
ReplyDeletegood post
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoy the super bowl.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ☺
Cool that you got to attend!
ReplyDeleteWhat an exciting time to be in the Bay Area! My parents live in Houston so we are pretty excited.

ReplyDeleteIt must be so exciting when your city hosts such a big event. Truly one of the biggest events in the entire world! It's nice to learn a little about the host city, and see other things than just football too. But I bet game day is awesome being there!
ReplyDeleteOur hometeam the Panthers made it there AGAIN! Unfortunately, didn't bring home the gold! That's okay, they got there and poor Cam, I think he wishes for a different outcome and is getting the heat because of it. Have a great weekend and thanks for linking with me this week at Party at My Place.
ReplyDeleteOh I love the bus!! That is great!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Wordless Wednesday.
Wonderful photos, I have to admit to not even being sure which sport the super bowl is for (baseball or American football) but I can appreciate the photos.
ReplyDeleteFound you at #showandtell
That is always so fun when your town own town hosts things like that! I live near Charlotte and they have hosted the NCAA tournament and it is always fun to see the nostalgia of games past and all the people. Thank you linking up with us at the Tips and Tricks Link Party! I cannot wait to see what you have next week!
ReplyDeleteCool shots! That must have been something having the Super Bowl so close to where you live. Sorry I am so late visiting for Wordless Wednesday.
