Oakland Museum White Elephant Sale 2016

On Spring Break here, us educators get that every year. I am out of town in Reno, enjoying and having some adventures in that city. Anyway, I got to go to one of my favorite things which is the Oakland Museum White Elephant Sale. It is held once a year and you can buy almost anything. I spent most of my time in the book section. All of the proceeds help the museum:

These were actually museum pieces from an exhibit

And where I spent my time:

One thing I kind of noticed and that is last week, I passed the four-year mark on this blog. Pretty cool deal. Thank you to all those who have spent a nano second looking at this. It makes me smile.

i have always wanted to go to the white elephant sale. every year i have it marked. this year was no exception, but i was so scared off by the "no strollers." sounds like it wasn't kid-friendly.
