Versions of Monopoly

I walked by a store in Berkeley called Games of Berkeley and saw something in the window and had to go in and take a look. It was amazing I did not know that there all these versions of the game Monopoly:

And my favorite:

I was amazed that there so many versions of this game. I guess I need to get out more.

  2. The summer before Freshman year, my dad bought me Purdueopoly. I loved that the properties were campus landmarks and my sister got so tired of me wanting to play all the time.

  3. Very neat how they have created so many versions. Except, I don't know, the classic is still a favorite. I remember playing it when I was young, then with my kids and waiting for when my grandkids are old enough to play. You brought me back down memory lane!

  5. We've been given several different Monopoly versions for Christmas over the years - National Parks, fancy anniversary edition, make-your-own (customize it with your family name)...but I still just like the original the best. Problem is, I feel those others are "special" and just can't bring myself to get rid of them...maybe I can do that soon and make room for something else in the old game closet... Thanks for joining us at #FridayFrivolity this week and hope to see you again!

  7. Woah, they are brilliant. I know they did different towns for a while as limited editions. My son would love the Walking dead one, and probably the Game of Thrones too. Great gift idea, thanks.

  17. It's amazing how many different types of Monopoly there are now! The Game of Thrones Monopoly should be interesting. When you take over property, do you also get to kill the character? LOL! I haven't played a good game of Monopoly in a long time and I may have to look into a new game and host an adult game night. Thanks for sharing with us at the Friday Funday blog hop! #FFBH
