2016 Swinging Skirts-Part 1

I got to go to the 2016 Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic Pro-Am at Lake Merced Golf Course in San Francisco last week. I always go to the Pro-Am as it is the only day that you can bring in cameras and the players are really nice. Breaking this up into two parts. The first is the action shots:

Chella Choi out of bunker
Lexi Thompson after a putt
Christie Kerr putting
Christina Kim with a chip shot
Brooke Henderson teeing off
Na Yeon Choi
Jessica Korda
Paula Creamer
Ai Miyazato
Jodi Ewart Shadoff
So Yeon Ryu
And these last four-I just sat on the first hole and admired their shots:

Lydia Ko
Morgan Pressel
Stacey Lewis
Michelle Wie
The people who run Swinging Skirts do a great job in hosting the tournament. Heading out to the Pro-Am is always one of my favorite sports activities.

  1. Nice captures. There's a golf course near us. I've thought about taking my camera out there but never quite got around to it. Will have to follow through!

  11. Great shots Patrick. I've never been to a tournament, but would love to see one someday! Golfing is a difficult sport to me...I was never very good at it.

  12. I agree. You quite the photographer my friend. Thanks for sharing and have a great day. Not really a golf fan, but I remember my last boss and wife they ate, slept and breathed golf. Must be nice to have a sport like that you love so much.

  13. Great action shots! My dad would love this - he's a HUGE golf fan. And he watches it all - men, women, the young golfers of Canada... if golf is on TV, he is watching it. LOL
Sadly he cannot play anymore, and he gave me his old clubs. I am actually really looking forward to using them this summer. I can't swing worth anything right now, but I am sure he will be there to give me tips.
