A Visit to Sonoma Coast State Park

It has been a pretty interesting and intense last couple of weeks. Now, I finally get a chance to relax.

I drove up the coast on Highway 1 and visited Sonoma Coast State Park. It was something that I needed as it was just so beautiful watching the Pacific Ocean crash into the rocks and shore. Even though it was overcast, it was still beautiful and much needed:

Just being up there and watching the waves and the water was something that I needed to relax me. And here is a short video that I took:

Hope everyone gets a chance to relax and enjoy.

  14. I really enjoyed your photos and video. It reminded me of my only drive along Hwy 1. I was in California on business in a rented car. It had not rained for a couple of weeks but it did as soon as I started out. I was not speeding but when negotiating a curve in the road my car skidded sideways into the oncoming lane. Happily there was not traffic and I recovered control. Seems that the buildup of oil on the road makes this a hazard under such conditions. I was rattled but so enjoyed seeing the coastline as I lived in Dallas at the time.
