I was walking in Downtown Oakland waiting for a book reading the other day and I came by the Betti Ono Gallery and decided to step in. They had an exhibition by Oakland based artist Jamie Treacy. Treacy works in mixed media paintings and is a high school art teacher at Skyline High School in Oakland:
"A Haven for the Diatoms" |
"Managing a Disobedient Armada" |
"To Survive in the Swollen" |
"A Gathering at the Energy Source" |
"Morning in the Measuring Chamber" |
"Sampling a Foreign Atmosphere" |
"Guardian Against an Welcome Mixture" |
Greeting cards based on Treacy's paintings |
I had never heard of Treacy before stumbling upon this Gallery. I like his work.
