Music Monday: Random Road Songs

Back after an eight-day vacation, drove from the Bay Area to Las Vegas and back. On this Music Monday, here are some of the songs I listened to (or got stuck in my head) while driving:

And because I saw it on the AMA's and loved it:

Hope everybody has a wonderful Monday.

  1. Julian Lennon was underrated. I had his "Valotte" album and it was good from start to finish. He sounds and looks a lot like his father here.

Al Jarreau with "Moonlighting" is pure bliss.

  2. You got some great pickins here my friend. Pink & Kelly is really is a one time thing don't you think? John Lennon's son is a surprise to me, but I must say you have some really great pickings here my friend!!! Thanks once again for joining us! Hope you had a great time on your trip... sure looks like it. Oh & your first tune that young lady was in the finals at "Dancing with the Stars", did you know that???? Very cool!!!

  3. Patrick.

Great playlist! I have not seen the movie "Major League" but I really like the love theme "Most of All You" by Bill Medley which is new-to-me. Another newbie selection is Prince's "Diamonds and Pearls". I was never a fan of the late singer. He had a good voice and was an excellent mewsician but most of his songs just didn't strike the right cord with me. This discovery is definitely a happy one. Thanks for the introduction to both of these songs, my friend, and it's great to have you on the dance floor with the 4M gang. Have a songtastic week! :)

  5. Al Jarreau was awesome and I don't think he received the recognition he deserved.
