Artifacts- The Rock Art of Emek
I went over to the Haight Street Art Center in San Francisco and saw one of best and most amazing art exhibitions I have ever seen. It is called "Artifacts-The Rock Art of Emek" Emek is known as "The thinking man's poster artist", all of his work is hand-drawn and then hand-silkscreened for each concert or event usually in limited editions of 300. In his posters, he merges music with environmentalism and civil rights in a blend of art and activism:
To me, Emek's work is so cool. Each piece is amazing. If you get a chance head down to the Haight Street Art Center in San Francisco, the exhibition will be running through April. The best thing about it is the cost-It is free.
