The Work of J.B. Blunk

The Oakland Museum has an exhibit of J.B. Blunk. Blunk was a mid 20th century artist whose had a deep connection to nature that governed his daily life. He was inspired by Japanese philosophies of nature. He was a Northern California artist who lived and worked in Marin County:

Blunk's work is amazing and to me is one of the best Northern California artists who used the material around him to create his art. I am glad that I got to see this exhibit.
