Music Monday: School is Out
For this Music Monday, I am going to celebrate the end of my 27th year in education as the school year ended at the middle school I teach at ended on Friday:
Fabulous song picks to salute your 27th year goodbye for the summer. "School's Out" is what we chanted on our last day of school in my grade school years. :) The Go-Gos...loved the 80s! Summertime equals vacation time for kids and families! Thanks for sharing such fun music. It's great having you this month as a special 4M co-host, my friend. Have a boogietastic week!
What can I say that Alice Cooper didn't already say as every student's and teacher's end of school year anthem? Footloose is just the right song to get your feet movin' and your body on the dance floor. Great playlist this week.
27 years - congrats on completing another year of your career. School's Out is a song I wish had come out when I was in school - it's perfect. But Wham's and the Go-Go's songs are right up there, too. Enjoyed your playlist and sorry I'm a few days late.
