The Robert Matusi U.S. Courthouse |
I was up in California's State Capital-Sacramento and walked around a little bit. I have posted about going into a couple of the state buildings there. But this more of a hodgepodge of photos I took while walking around:
The outside of the Robert Matusi U.S Courthouse has some really cool pieces of public art:
And I walked into the State Treasurer's office I saw these cool old bonds on the wall:
|
1878 State University Bond |
|
Veteran's Bond Act of 1946 |
|
San Francisco Harbor Improvement of 1929 |
Here is a couple of other random things:
|
In honor of all the policemen who have died in service |
|
USS California Ship's Bell |
|
Dedicated to all the Latino soldiers who have served |
|
Dedicated to the Spanish-American War Veterans |
Sacramento has a lot of cool stuff to see if you are just strolling about.
Love your pictures. I have never been to Sacramento.

That's my nearest city - 1 1/2 hr. away, but never was around the court house! Very interesting statues - now I have to go and look:) I love their harbor, and the trains in Old Town.

I love all the art in the fountain although I know that if I were to take my son anywhere near it, he would be in there playing like a shot! Thanks for linking to #featurefridays
ReplyDeleteFascinating photos! I've only been to Sacramento once and it looks like I need to go back to see all that too!
