A Hodgepodge of Sacramento

The Robert Matusi U.S. Courthouse
I was up in California's State Capital-Sacramento and walked around a little bit. I have posted about going into a couple of the state buildings there. But this more of a hodgepodge of photos I took while walking around:

The outside of the Robert Matusi U.S Courthouse has some really cool pieces of public art:

And I walked into the State Treasurer's office I saw these cool old bonds on the wall:

1878 State University Bond
Veteran's Bond Act of 1946

San Francisco Harbor Improvement of 1929

Here is a couple of other random things:

In honor of all the policemen who have died in service
USS California Ship's Bell
Dedicated to all the Latino soldiers who have served
Dedicated to the Spanish-American War Veterans

Sacramento has a lot of cool stuff to see if you are just strolling about.

  6. That's my nearest city - 1 1/2 hr. away, but never was around the court house! Very interesting statues - now I have to go and look:) I love their harbor, and the trains in Old Town.
