2018 Oakland Musuem White Elephant Sale

It is the first weekend in March and that usually means that I head to the Oakland Museum White Elephant Sale.  The sale is things that are donated year around for the purpose of benefitting the Oakland Museum. It is held in a warehouse and it is massive.

One of the few things not for sale
The picture above represents the reaction of the first-time visitors there. There is so much to see and buy. You literally can get almost anything there:

The jewelry section was huge and this was the only pic without a crowd around it

I only got a couple of things and I am trying not to clutter up my house and declutter a little bit:

Honoring the men of the 143rd who fought in WWI
Got to have Chewbacca gumball machine

The Oakland Museum White Elephant Sale is one of the more interesting thing I attend every year and I love it.

  11. I want to go! My family are massive collectors (hoarders!) and love things like this - they'd come home with buckets of stuff. I'd go and just enjoy seeing it all - then the money I saved from not buying "stuff" I'd use to go out to lunch afterwards! Thanks for linking up with us at #MLSTL and I've shared this on my SM
