4-16-13-Stockton Ports vs. San Jose Giants

Municipal Stadium in San Jose is truly one of my favorite places to watch a game. Muni was built as part of a WPA project in 1942. It holds 4,200 and is the home of Class A (high) San Jose Giants which is a San Francisco Giants farm team. Many of the 2010 and 2012 World Series Champion Giants played in San Jose as they were beginning their careers:

Entering Muni
Love how they post the lineup of both teams right when you walk in

The same at night

One of the great things about Muni is the food. Turkey Mike's BBQ down the third base line is to die for:

A BBQ turkey leg
Tri-tip sandwich
Oh there was a game going on:

San Jose pitcher Clayton Blackburn
Stockton's Addison Russell (The Oakland A's top prospect) getting into the box

The classic battle: Pitcher vs. batter
San Jose's Elliott Blair after a pitch
Muni is a great place to watch a game and to watch future majors before they are famous
