Tommy's Joynt is a San Francisco landmark. It has been on the corner of Van Ness and Geary since 1947. It bills itself as the San Francisco's original hof-brau. They say the food and atmosphere is no frills, but to me both are good and have a lot of heart.
One of the cool things about Tommy's is the outside of the building itself:
