Total Bling

I listen to the radio a bunch, usually talk radio. I listening one day and they had an ad about some fine jewelry that Shreve & Co had bought from different estates.  I decided to check it out since I was down in the Union Square area. Glad I did, it was very impressive. The cool thing was how I was treated there. They knew that I was only looking but I was still treated with respect with the salespeople answering all of questions.

The first three are Tiffany:

These next five are from Cartier:

Here is a Harry Winston piece:

A piece by David Webb:

Here are the real super pieces:

A piece made by Mauboussin-$750,000

This piece is a Cartier that was owned by the great French actress Catherine Deneuve. It is valued at $1.9 million:

Finally here is a Paul Flato piece that was designed for Cole Porter's wife. It can be yours for a mere $2.2 million:

It was really nice and great to see these wonderful pieces.

  4. Bling indeed. I love me some bling, just ask my husband, but it is usually in the form of a lesser valued form. However, these pieces are stunningly beautiful. thanks for linking up with #TuneInThursday today!

  5. It would be awesome to see these pieces in the real. They look so beautiful. I love all sorts of bling, like if it glitters, it must be good.

  9. Thank you for sharing the pictures with us. I am especially crazy for the Tiffany pendant (do you know what year that is from, I'm guessing 1910-1915ish), the Webb brooch (wow!), and the stunning Paul Flato necklace. You are lucky to see his work in person, I don't think it's all that common. Great post.
