  1. Patrick,

Oh, you have us traveling by plane, train, and automobile! All the makings of a fine movie, don't you think? :) "The Last Train to Clarksville" had me chair boogieing. I remember watching The Beatles "Yellow Submarine" when I was a kid. :) Thanks for sharing these fabulous tunes on the dance floor carrying me away from my worries this morning!

  2. I'm having such a good time reading the posts from this theme. Last Train to Clarksville - yes, the Monkees are an old fav. I had that album! And Day-O...a fav from my early childhood. I have the Elton John album with Bennie and the Jets, too..the only new one was the Alicia Keys song. Great selections for a great theme.

  3. Nice collection of songs here! My favorite cover of "Big Yellow Taxi" is one done by a Chicago band called The Neighborhood. Their guitar player lived down the block from me.

Loved that you started off your post with Bennie & the Jets. Great choice! And the Monkees "Last Train to Clarksville" was a real treat.
The Beetlejoice scene was a trip! I never saw the movie. Maybe I'll have to now...

    Have a great week,
