The Candle Lighters Ghost House 2015

I went to the Candle Lighters Ghost in Fremont. I haven't blogged about it in a couple of years, so I decided to.

TheCandle Lighters is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to raising funds for non-profit groups and community-based projects in the Tri-City Community. (Fremont, Newark & Union City). This is their annual fund-raiser for the good they do in the community:

The Candle Lighters do a great job in the community and the Ghost House is a staple in Fremont.

The Hayward Chalk Art Festival

About a month ago, I attended the The Hayward Chalk Art and Music Festival in Downtown Hayward. It was a cool event that featured a lot of cool local artists and people making their own art on the sidewalk:

One of the local artists was Julie Dotson who had some really cool work (and was really nice to talk to):

and another one named Mike Morkve who had some cool stuff:

But it was a cool time of art and some music:

Welcome to Sam Boyd Stadium

When I was in Vegas, I went to see an UNLV football game. It was UNLV vs. San Jose St. I wanted to see Sam Boyd Stadium, the home of UNLV football. Sam Boyd Stadium began life in 1971 and has been the host of the Las Vegas Bowl since 1992. It seats 35,550 and is seven miles away from campus:

It was a great game as there were 17 points scored in the final three minutes and San Jose St. won in OT 33-27 (My game pics sucked):

They did have a great thing to eat it is called the Mack Attack (the biggest chili cheese dog you will ever see):

Sam Boyd Stadium is a great place to watch a game. I can't wait to go again.
