I was in Carmel and they have some of their little touristy art galleries open and the Aaron Chang Ocean Art Gallery had all of these cool hand painted surf boards in there:

It is so cool to see inventive artwork like this. 

Just Walking Around Reno

A Road Stop

 

I was driving past Gilroy, Ca and came upon this place called Bloomfield Farmers Market and decided to stop. It was well-worth the stop:

Sometimes it is work pulling over and checking things out.

The Premier of Sirius Lee-The Problematic Time Traveler

 I went to a premier of a movie in Downtown Oakland. The movie was called Sirius Lee- The Problematic Time Traveler. It was produced by Theo Hollingsworth, a producer based in Oakland. 

The movie was hosted by Druken Flim Fest Oakland who has been hosting short film pop-ups around the city. This was a cool and true pop-up, bring own chair and blanket and social distance from each other and enjoy the movie. It was held in Downtown Oakland:

The movie itself is super. So very funny and the acting is wonderful. It is truly an independent movie that is very inspiring and one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. It is the perfect mixture of early 1980's culture and values clashing with the norms of 2020. It is also filmed in Oakland and they did a great job in showing the iconic and beautiful places of the city:

It was a great way to have a premier for a movie and I truly enjoyed Sirius Lee-The Problematic Time Traveler.

Walking the San Francisco Bay Trail

 

The weather has been lovely here the last couple of days. The smoke is gone from the air and I went out walking. I went to San Leandro and decided to walk some of the San Francisco Bay Trail. As I mentioned, the San Francisco Bay Trail has many parts and encompasses the whole Bay Area. I love walking all the the different places around the San Francisco Bay. The beauty of it is that you get different views in the different places:

The Redwoods by Randy Colosky

 

I was walking in San Francisco and saw some unusual public art. I found out that it was done by an artist names Randy Colosky.  Colosky is a Bay Area artist who is a conceptual artist who transforms mundane materials into poetic works of art:

I found the art every interesting and loved how warm it was. He did a wonderful job.
