Happy Jack's Pie-N-Burger

 

In Bakersfield, I ate at this place called Happy Jack's Pie-N-Burger. The place opened 60 years ago and has been owned by the same family for the last 47 years.

It does have a certain Yoda vibe to it:

And the food is very yummy:

Happy Jack's is a cool visit if you are driving through the Bakersfield:

Views From a Road Trip

 

Just some views on my drive from the Bay Area to Las Vegas. First is a little stop in Bakersfield:

It was a long but nice drive. I always love the scenery.

I always love the Bellagio's displays in their Conservatory. They are always so very beautiful.

Grateful among the Redwoods

I am always so thankful and grateful that anybody looks at the prose and the pictures I post. I was walking in one of my favorite places - The Redwood Grove at Roberts Park in Oakland. I was so grateful that I was there and as I get older I feel so alive in what I am doing:

Nuts and Who's at the San Jose Museum of Art

 

At the San Jose Museum of Art, they have an exhibition called Nut's and Who's. It is a collection of work that was done by artists who work through a small gallery in Folsom, California called the Candy Store from 1968 through 1985:

I think that these pieces are cool and love them. I am glad that I was able to learn about the Candy Store gallery.
