Starting to Look Like Xmas

I am kind of a Bah Humbug kind of person but I guess to many it is Christmas Time. Here are some random pics that I have seen of the Chrisrmas Spirit:

Lyft Art Park

When I was in Las Vegas, I went by this small park across from the Fremont St. Experience called the Lyft Art Park.  There are no vehicles traveling through the park, it is place to hale your Lyft ride and wait. Much of the art was shown at Burning Man:

Lyft Art Park is one of more interesting places I seen in Las Vegas and that is saying something.

Bellagio Conservatory 2018

Everytime I am in Las Vegas, I always head to the Bellagio Conservatory and people always tell me that it is the same. I disagree as they are alway doing new stuff every year for the different seasons. This year they really did something different for fall:

The Bellagio Conservatory is always updating their stuff and making it better every year. It is place that I love going to.

The Leroy King Carousel

The Leroy King Carousel is one of those old carousels that I love. I love the craftsman ship in the animals. The Leory King Carousel has a great history. It was constructed by Charles Looff in 1906 and was to be installed in San Francisco but wasn't because of the 1906 earthquake. It was installed in Luna Park in Seattle in 1907, moved to San Francisco's Playland-at-the-Beach in 1913, stayed there for the next 60 years. Put in storage in by a private collector in New Mexico and stayed there for 11 years and moved to Shoreline Village in Long Beach in 1983. Finally it was purchased by the City of San Francisco in 1998 and fully restored and opened at Yerba Buena Gardens in 1998:

The Carousel is so cool and I am glad that we have a living pice of history in San Francisco.

The 2430 Arts Alliance

I was over in Berkeley and saw the sign above. University Press Books and the Musical Offering Cafe and Music Shop have merged into the 2430 Arts Alliance, I think that it is a cool deal since they can offer more things for everyone:
