Just me and my adventures in life. Life is an adventure and I try to have fun. I love being out in the world, taking pictures and being able to share them with people who come across my little space on the internet. Thanks for stopping by and peace be with you.

The Arts District has really become more a destination for quirky, artsy things every time I go there. It located way off the strip and past Downtown, it is a really cool place to see interesting things:
And the murals on the buildings are really interesting:
And they may have been the coolest mural on a building I have ever seen:
The Arts District of Las Vegas is a really cool and interesting place to visit.
Music Monday: I have been helping with a wildlife camp on Saturday's with little kids. It is interesting experience. Anyway, one day it was misting outside and we couldn't go outside, so we had an indoor lesson and some coloring. Well, they wanted to hear some music, so I decided to play DJ and here are some of the songs the kiddos choose:
But the strange thing is all the girls wanted to hear this oldie and it really surprised me but I played it and all of them stopped what they were doing and watched the video:

I went over to Niles which is a part of Fremont. Before the 1950's, the city of Fremont was actually five different small towns and Niles was one of them. The Niles section is known for being quaint and its antique shops and its general small town feeling unlike the rest of Fremont:
It still keeps its railroad heritage:
It has a lot of cool shops to go into:
And Charlie Chaplin hated the place because it was so rural but shot one of his most famous movies there-The Tramp but Niles still remembers him:
I love walking around Niles and need to do it more since it is about 15 minutes from my house.
