Music Monday: I was away last weekend and couldn't do a Music Monday. I am back and here are some songs from the first decade of the 2000's:

Seen in Airports

 

Last weekend, I traveled from Oakland Airport to Orlando and back again. It was a great trip to get the see the Daytona 500 in person. It was also cool to see different things in airports in different cities. 

Flying over the Rockies below:

Denver airport was interesting as they use the bathrooms for Tornado Shelters:

Orlando was interesting because of the Disney influence:

But the Austin airport was the coolest:

I know that you can't really get a sense of a city in an airport but it is nice to see what they have.

When I was at the Austin Airport, they had an exhibit of the great street artist Banksy:

It was really cool to see this as I was waiting for my flight home. 

Saturday and Sunday at Daytona

 

Over the weekend, I took a once-in-a lifetime trip. I went to the World Center of Speed-Daytona International Speedway. It was amazing trip.

With a couple of laps to go, there was a red flag bringing the field to a stop:

I didn't get any good clear shots of the finish so I had to rely on the jumbo board to get the finish:

This was an amazing once-of-a-lifetime experience and I am still speechless that I got to see everything live. So very cool.
