A Walk Around Old Sacramento

The area around Old Sacramento to be honest is a tourist trap designed as a tourist attraction for Sacramento with all the shops and everything. It is a nice time to just walk around and see what is there:

Old Sacramento is a nice way to spend an afternoon with all the shiops and resturants.

The 52nd California International Antiquarian Book Fair

Had some fun as I attended the 52nd California International Antiquarian Book Fair. It is always amazing to see these great books and artifacts up close and in person and learn more about the them. It is something that a book lover like me enjoys. Even though everything is out of my price range (All the books are first edition unless noted)

Rock Aganist Racism poster-Australian 1976

1967 Muhammad Ali Handbill
One of the first travel books ever printed 1475-The Holy Land
16th century in the Slavic traiditon
1647-Blaine Pascal- Only three editions are known to exist
First UK edition

19th century Vernacular Burmese Manuscript
James Thurber drawing of E.B. White
1737 Atlas of China
Set of first trade editions of the Winnie the Pooh series
Dylan's first appearance in New York

The Essayer by Galieo Galilei 1623
The coolest thing there was a leaf from an orginial Gutenberg Bible. Printed in the 1450's, a book collector in the 1920's got an incomplete copy of a Gutenberg Bible in the 1920's and sold leafs to other collectors:

The California International Antiquarian Book Fair only comes to Oakland every two years. It is something that I always look forward to.

Baseball Graphic T-Shirts

Seattle Mariiners

I was going through my T-Shirts and learned that I have a lot of graphic T-shirts. Way too many. Anyway, here are (in honor of Spring Training opening) the best of my baseball graphic T-Shirts:

We are going to start with some old Pacific Coast League(PCL) teams. Before the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers moving west in 1958, the PCL was the league on the West Coast:

Oakland Oaks

Hollywood Stars
And we need some from the Nippon Professional Baseball:

Hiroshima Toyo Carp

Yomiuri Giants-Basically they are the national team of Japan
And being a Bay Area guy, I have one San Francsico Giants graphic T and a lot of Oakland A's graphic tees (I am a huge A's fan):

And my favorite two Oakland A's graphic tees:

But the graphic tees I love the most are my minor league ones. I think that they have the coolest logos and are the best:

Modesto Nuts

Fort Wayne Tin Caps

A brand new team- Amarillo Sod Poodles

San Jose Giants

Flordia Firefrogs
And some old forgotten teams:

Pine Bluff Judges

Hanava Sugar Kings
But I think the coolest graphic baseball T I have is this one:

The Oakland Larks were a team that played in the West Coast Negro Baseball League. The league lasted one year.

There is a little look at some of my graphic baseball T-Shirts.
