Music Monday: Songs About Meeting

For this Music Monday, as social creatures we are meeting with people, sometimes it is bad (as in a work meeting) but a lot of times it is good because we are meeting up with a friend or family. Here are some tunes about meeting up:

And because Thursday is Fourth of July, I feed the need to include a couple of songs about this country:

I hope that everyone has a great week and a safe Fourth of July.

Hiking at the Marin Headlands

I did some hiking in the Marin Headlands recently. It is always fun to hike around there and see the views. Rodeo Beach is part of the Headlands and I love being near the ocean;

And it is cool to see the seals, just chillin on a rock:

I love hiking around the Marin Headlands and Rodeo Beach. It is a super place to enjoy a day.

A Visit to the Stonington Gallery

The Stonington Gallery in Seattle is pretty amazing. It has been serving Seattle for the 45 years with its works of art from the Pacific Northwest and Alaska:

The depth of the art is amazing and it is a great place to go and see in Seattle.

A Visit to Chihuly Garden and Glass

I hadn't been to Chihuly Garden and Glass in Seattle for ten years or so when I visited it during spring break. The work celebrates the work glass art of Dale Chihuly. It is still as beautiful and with such great works of art as I remember:

And the garden outside is amazing also:

A visit to Chihuly Garden and Glass is a must when visiting Seattle. It is very beautiful and peaceful.

Downtown Hayward Street Party

If it is summertime, my city of Hayward is having their summer third Thursday Downtown Street Party and I went to have some fun:

And they had a little food:

And some cool cars on display:

The Downtown Hayward Street Parties are a summer staple and always a good time.

Just Walking Around

Just some random thoughts from walking around:

The chapel at Fort Mason

And on Father's Day, my son took me to a San Francisco Giants game at Oracle Park:

The boats in McCovey Cove waiting for a splash hit

Sadly, the Bay Area and baseball lost an icon as the great Willie Mays passed away on Tuesday:

It has been nice just walking around and enjoying the nice weather.
