In North Las Vegas (way off the strip) is a restaurant called the Chicago Brewing Company. It is a great place to eat and have a beer (they brew their own) and enjoy the company of friends:

The Chicago Brewing Company is a gem that many don't know about. It is worth going off the Strip for.

The Park in Las Vegas

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I just want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for reading this dribble I put out called my blog.

I was pretty much away last week in Las Vegas. I went to a bunch of places and most likely will bore people for a while with my pics from the city of different places and things I went to for a while. Sorry. One of the places I visited was this area called the The Park. It is public space between the New York, New York Casino Hotel and the Monte Carlo Casino Hotel. It starts on Las Vegas Blvd and ends at the new T-Mobile Arena, home of the newest NHL team (to begin play in 2017)-the Las Vegas Golden Knights:

It is a great public space and a very enjoyable stroll from Las Vegas Blvd (The Strip) to the T-Mobile Arena.

Hanging Outside the Flamingo

Just got back and walked into the door after doing the eight-hour drive from Las Vegas. Here are some pics taken from outside the Flamingo Casino and Hotel on the Strip. One thing about these pics, it is the first time that I used my Samsung tablet to take all the pics:

Whenever I am on the Strip and need a little quiet time, I just go outside the Flamingo and chill. It is a great spot to that (at least to me).

Artisitc Iron Work of Las Vegas

I am in Las Vegas. I know that I will come back with too many blogs as I usually do. I around what is know as "The Arts District" and saw this place with all this amazing iron work:

This is some amazing work and I was happy to see it.

Apple Hill 2016

I went up to Apple Hill in Placerville not to long ago. Apple Hill is a collection of growers and farms that are all out the apple:

Even if you are not into apples, it is just a nice area to walk around:

Ok, I will admit I have a thing for trees but it was beautiful just to walk around.
