I was in the Oakland A's main office getting something and was able to take quick pics of all four of their Commissioner's Trophy for winning the World Series. They are quite impressive to view.
The trophy was first presented in 1967 and received its name in 1985. A new trophy is made every year and the winner gets to keep the trophy:
1972 Commissioner's Trophy |
1973 Commissioner's Trophy |
1974 Commissioner's Trophy |
1989 Commissioner's Trophy |
I am happy that I have grown up and lived near a team that has won four of them. I hope they can will another one soon.
Impressive that they have won so many. Aren't they stunning!?
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful. I got a couple of pics from different years with my kids and I with the. I also have one with me with the Giants one. They are so stunning up close.
